Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of buffup.ai, a service operated by CPAlchemy LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company with its address at 57 Charter Oak Avenue #102, Hartford, CT 06106, United States. By using the service or starting a subscription you agree to them.

What the service is

buffup.ai reviews a business's public online presence, scores it against a fixed set of tests, and where appropriate builds and hosts a website for that business. We may also send printed mail inviting a business owner to claim a site we have built for them.

A site we build before anyone asks for it is a sample. It’s clearly labelled as unclaimed on every page, and it carries a link to have it removed. Publishing a sample creates no obligation on the business and no relationship between us until it is claimed.

Subscriptions, billing and renewal

• The subscription is $49.00 USD per month, in United States dollars. There is one billing interval, no setup fee and no minimum term.
• New subscriptions begin with a seven (7) day free trial. You are not charged during the trial.
• At the end of the trial the subscription renews automatically at $49.00 USD per month and continues to renew each month until you cancel.
• Payment is taken by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend the service until it succeeds.
• We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change affecting your subscription.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the site itself or by contacting us at support@buffup.ai. Cancelling stops future charges. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for what happens to the period you have already paid for.

When your subscription ends, your site goes back to being a sample: it stays online, it is no longer marked as yours, and search engines are no longer sent to it. Everything you changed stays saved in your account. Subscribing again puts it back within a minute.

Your content and your business information

If we build a site for your business, you keep ownership of your name, logo, photographs and anything else you supply. You give us permission to display those things on the site we host for you, for as long as you use the service.

We build from public sources and licensed business data. If any detail is wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove it.

What we don't promise

We do not guarantee that a website, a score, or a mailing will produce customers, calls, or revenue. We provide the service as described and take reasonable care doing it. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy, that we are required to act on by law, or that is used to attempt fraud.

Restrictions

The service is offered to businesses in the United States. We do not currently sell to consumers, to sanctioned parties, or into jurisdictions where doing so would breach export control or sanctions law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
